خلاصه داستان : کاترین یک مادر زحمت کش است که سعی دارد زندگی بهتری برای خود و پسرش درست کند. او با الدر براک ملاقات می کند؛ یک مبلغ مذهبی خوش تیپ که گذشته ی سختی داشته است. آن ها وارد رابطه ای عاشقانه می شوند اما مدتی بعد کاترین تصمیم می گیرد که با همسر سابقش ادامه دهد. الدر براک نمی تواند قبول کند که این رابطه تمام شده است و هر کاری می کند که ثابت کند آن ها باید تا ابد با هم باشند.
